TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Sorry but we are unable to accept bookings from all male/all female or mixed group under 30 years of age. Family bookings must include a responsible adult memeber who is at least 25 year of age. Bookings will be held until the date stated on your letter. Failure to pay the deposit or balance by that date will result in the break being re-advertised.
The key to the caravans are not usually availalbe until 4pm on day of arrival. Check in is at guest services. Here you will be given the keys to the caravan and any passes into the complex. If you arrive early you are welcome to use all the facilities on the Butlins complex until the holiday home is ready for you.
In order that the caravan can be cleaned and made available for the next booking, we would kindly ask that you vacate the van by 10am on the day of departure. Failure to do may incur extra costs to you.
The caravan will be cleaned at the end of your stay. However , we would respectfully request that you leave the caravan as you would expect to find it. All dishes etc must be washed and put away and any food and drink removed.
SHOULD ANY SPILLAGE OR SICKNESS OCCUR ON THE CARPET OR UPHOLSTERY, PLEASE USE THE CARPET SPRAY CLEANER PROVIDED TO REMOVE OR MINIMISE STAINING. THIS CAN BE FOUND IN THE CUPBOARD BENEATH THE KITCHEN SINK. FOR STUBBORN STAINS AND IN ALL CASES OF SICKNESS, WE WILL NEED TO GET THE CARPETS CLEANED AT A COST OF £25. THIS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE SECURITY DEPOSIT.
The hirer is responsible for all memebers of the party and must make good any losses, breakages or damage to the caravans or its contents during their stay. We do request a security deposit of (but not limited to ) £100 which is refundable within 14 days of departure (subject to no damages etc). This is payable at the time of paying the final balance, and we reserve the right to deduct the cost of damage, excessive cleaning etc at our discretion.
FROM JAN 2011 WE WILL BE ADDING £100 CASH ONTO THE COST OF THE HOLIDAY FOR ALL ADULT BREAKS. THIS MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED ONCE THE BREAK IS OVER AND THE CARAVAN HAS BEEN CHECKED.
ON ALL OTHER BREAKS THIS MAY BE PAID BY SEPERATE CHEQUE WHICH WILL BE HELD HERE
THIS CHEQUE WILL NOT BE CASHED UNLESS THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE CARAVAN. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF THE HIRER PUTTING A STOP ON THE CHEQUE THE MATTER WILL BE PLACED IN THE HANDS OF A SOLICITOR
In the unlikely event of any loss or damage found on your arrival this should be notified immediately by telephone to John or Sue on 01634 682154 or 07770943075 or 07834857248 otherwise you may be held responsible.
ANY PROBLEMS ARISING WHILST AT THE CARAVAN MUST ALSO BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY. WE WILL NOT HONOUR ANY CLAIMS FOR COMPENSATION/REFUND IF PROBLEMS HAVE NOT BEEN REPORTED WHILST THERE. THIS GIVES US THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE SOMEONE COME TO THE CARAVAN TO VIEW THE PROBLEMS WHILST YOU ARE IN RESIDENCE.
Please observe young children with crayons etc as drawing on the walls of the caravan will result in specialist clean or redecoration, which will be charged for from the security deposit.
For the comfort of our guests, all mattresses are covered with protectors. The pillows and duvets also have covers on them. Please note however that these are simply protectors and are not washed at the end of every stay, therefore we request you put your own covers on for hygene reasons. Please do not remove any protectors or you will be charged for them.
Towels and bed linen are not provided. Each bed has a duvet and pillows but not sheets, covers etc. Towels and t-towels are not provided.
Should you book your holiday 8 weeks or less before the start date, the full amount will be due.
Butlins is a family holiday park and anyone who's unreasonable conduct will be asked to leave by security forfeiting the rest of their holiday.
The booking deposit is non-refundable. We reserve the right to re-let the caravan if the final balance is not received by the due date confirmed.
The price of your holiday includes passes into the Butlins complex (with the exception of spring harvest and Elim events). Details of how to collect the passes and keys will be sent to you on receipt of the payment for the holiday.
If you should lose the keys a charge of £100 will be made to replace the locks and keys.
Any changes to the advertised entertainment or facilities on the resort are beyond our control and we cannot be held responsible for this.
Should your accommodation become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control and we are unable to find comparative accommodation for you, a full refund will be given.
We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to personal items. We recommend that you purchase some form of holiday insurance if you require it and there is no insurance included in the price of your holiday.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE CARAVAN, AT THE DOORS OR WINDOWS. IF THIS RULE IS NOT ADHERED TO YOU WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE CARAVAN WITHOUT A REFUND. WE ALSO DO NOT ALLOW ANY PETS.
